Lifeline Program

10 meters (max.) for mobile phones in Europe and the U.K. 25 meters (max.) for mobile phones in the U.S.A., South America and Canada. 50 meters (max.) for mobile phones elsewhere. This system will not work in countries without GSM technology networks. Panasonic Smart Phones, a leading smartphone brand in India believes in providing top quality devices with its one of a kind mission: to make technology available to every individual. Panasonic India’s history of connecting people came into existence with the launch of in-car phones in the year 1971. Patriot Mobile is an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) founded in 2012 and headquartered in Texas. An MVNO is a smaller wireless carrier that rents space on one or more of the big four networks and sells it to you, typically at a discounted rate.

The Lifeline program offers discounted telecommunications service for qualified low-income customers. Under the Lifeline program, qualified customers can receive a discount on their monthly wireless telecommunications service.

Available in nine states and Puerto Rico.
T-Mobile is authorized to offer discounts through the Lifeline program in the states listed here:

Florida, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington

Lifeline applicants may apply for Lifeline directly through the National Verifier or submit the Lifeline National Verifier Application Form to the Lifeline Support Center. If you have any questions regarding your eligibility, please contact the Lifeline Support Center.

Once you have completed the application process and have received eligibility notification from the National Verifier, please print and submit the T‑Mobile Lifeline Enrollment Form to receive service from T-Mobile.

Texas
Texas residents must apply through the Texas Low Income Discount Administrator. Apply via the online self-enrollment form or by calling 1-866-454-8387. For more information, check out the T‑Mobile Lifeline Brochure for Texas.

A few things to keep in mind…

1. Most wireless carriers provide a 15% discount to the primary phone number and varying discounts for each additional number.

2. If you current have a cellular service plan without the discount most wireless carriers will apply the discount to your account on a go forward basis.

3. Typically a two year service agreement must be established or an existing service agreement must be renewed for an additional two years to qualify for the discount.

4. Ask for a manager if the customer service representative is unaware of any discount.

5. If you don’t see your desired wireless carrier on this list call the carrier and ask if they offer a military or veteran discount.

6. Be sure to compare the carrier’s. The best discount may not mean it’s the best priced plan for your needs or that it’s a suitable carrier in your area.

7. Most wireless military discounts are part of the Department of Defense Handheld Wireless Enterprise Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) Sponsorship Program which is available to all Federal Government employees for service plans and to purchase wireless devices and accessories for personal use.
