Infrasound

The INFRASONIC QUARTET is a multi purpose pro audio interface card using stable PCI bus technology. QUARTET provides high quality, multi-function, sound editing for your home studio. A similar infrasound problem happened in my appartment building. I used a stethoscope on the walls to track the source. It was a centifugal fan in a neighbor's ventilation system. It had not been cleaned for years, and dust had accumulated inside in an asymetric pattern, causing an unbalance in the center of gravity of the rotating part. Infrasonic Sound is an audio & vinyl mastering company with studios in Los Angeles CA, Nashville, TN, and Oakland, CA. Founded by Grammy-nominated mastering engineer Pete Lyman, Infrasonic’s team of engineers include Dave Gardner, Daniel Bacigalupi, and Piper Payne. Infrasound is simply sound below the human's hearing range, typically below 20 Hz. At such low frequency a true sound wave causes the local pressure to go up and down and is distinguished from air movement. In fact, breezes are the main enemy of infrasound detection and pressure changes due to.
